The results for the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc (JAM) 2014 organized by IIT Kanpur has been declared.
The exam was conducted on February 9. Candidates can view their results and merit list at the JAM IIT Kanpur website, http://gate.iitk.ac.in/jam/webdata/result.php
Separate rank lists has been declared for each subject. Candidates who qualified the exam will receive their respective Score Card through speed post. The Score Card will include All India Rank obtained in addition to the marks secured.
JAM 2014 scores will be used for admissions to M.Sc, M.Sc - PhD, M.Sc - M.Tech, integrated PhD and other post graduate programmes at the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore and at the Indian Institutes of Technology. The admission process will begin from April 17 and will continue till April 30.
Candidate can apply for their desired programme(s) through IIT Kanpur based on the test subjects qualified. Although the eligibility criteria will be decided by the institute concerned, candidates can apply for any number of courses through the single application form available at the IIT Kanpur website.
The entrance test was conducted for Biological Sciences (BL), Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Mathematics (MA), Geology (GG), Mathematical Statistics (MS) and Physics (PH).
