Circular also warns 'action will be taken aginst teachers/staffs, students participating in the protest'. Another circular by Registrar appeared in university website directs Heads of department not to sanction leave for faculty and students on Monday and also instruct  not to permit students to go away from the class room.

Recently a petition is moved by PUTA (Pondicherry University Teachers Association) moved in change.org demanding removal of VC which got 1500+ supporters. PUTA also listed its evidences against VC supporting their claim.
