NIT Rourkela has launched a Summer Internship Program with an objective to encourage ambitious bright BE/B.Tech as well as B.Sc, B.Arch, M.Sc, MA and MBA students of different institutes in India other than NIT Rourkela to pursue an innovative research and development project under the guidance of NIT faculties.

Who can apply: Any B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Sc or M.Sc student with a good academic record who by summer 2014 will complete 2 or 3 years of study toward engineering or science degree, MA in Development Studies (1st year), MBA (1st year) can apply for these summer internships.

Location: NIT Rourkela
Duration: 2 months (between May 12-July 16, 2014)
Number of Internships: 50
Stipend: Rs. 3500/-, for a period of two months to meet travel and other expenses. The fellowship will be provided to those, who stay in NITR hostels.
In addition, you will be provided free Accommodation in the NIT Halls of Residences.
